ELEVATE is seeking a dynamic and motivated Global IT Support Officer for our IT organization. The successful candidate will join ELEVATE’s existing IT Support team and will help provide timely support to a wide range of users (both internal & external) on various platforms. This role is a great opportunity for all candidates willing to gain experience and knowledge in the IT world, with possible internal development leading to several roles and a career in Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a mix of IT platforms using various tech stacks
  • Act as the first line of Support for those platforms, performing various tasks ranging from administration to troubleshooting
  • Be user-facing and provide timely support to different Business users, both internal (ELEVATE colleagues) and external (ELEVATE clients), using a range of communication channels (emails, calls with screen sharing etc.)
  • Identify any important unaddressed issue and liaise with other IT staff (e.g. IT Product Owners) to raise awareness and to enable remediation
  • Work towards automation to reduce manual efforts as well as waiting times where possible

 

 

Qualifications

  • Degree Holder of any stream, Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Earlier experience of providing Product Support is preferred but not mandatory
  • Pre-existing knowledge in Incident Management, JIRA, and Confluence is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to recognize known Support scenarios, providing resolution to tickets based on the knowledge of specific IT Products
  • Team player who is willing to liaise with multiple teams (IT teams, Business teams etc.)
  • Proactive and quick learner able to grasp both domain and product knowledge
  • Excellent written (mandatory) & verbal (preferred) communication skills
