We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate professional to join our team and support clients to address their most pressing sustainability challenges. 

This is a special role that calls for both the general skills of a consultant and the specific skills of a project coordinator. Initially this role will focus on supporting a major multi-year program for a leading global company in the food and beverage industry. The program requires exceptional project coordination, management, administration skills. The position will also contribute to other projects and team goals, drawing on both specialist and generalist consulting skills. The ideal candidate values the importance of well-organized and conscientious project management and administration for achieving team goals. 

This role will be client-facing and require direct engagement with clients’ Sustainability/ESG or Procurement teams as well as a number of our internal teams for coordination purposes. You will work with private-sector clients, many of which are major global companies, spanning a variety of sectors, including consumer goods, retail, food/agriculture, finance, real estate, and electronics.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Facilitate effective project delivery through internal and external coordination (including audit scheduling and follow-up), contract management, record and data management, and support of the project manager and director 
  • Proactively own and deliver specific tasks on time and to specification for client projects and internal projects, with guidance from more senior staff: 
  • Research, analyze information, and synthesize findings and recommendations to address project needs 
  • Contribute to project deliverables, such as reports and presentations 
  • Communicate with and present deliverables to clients and other stakeholders 
  • Contribute to product and service standardization  
  • Support project management, onsite assessment coordination, and administration as needed 
  • Use ELEVATE platforms and processes (Wrike, Salesforce, COP and Revenue Recognition, etc.) accurately and in a timely manner 
  • Follow training and development plans as directed 
  • Contribute to proposal writing, networking, and raising the profile of ELEVATE, as directed, to help secure new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients 
  • Support product and service research and development as directed 

 

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant field 
  • Undergraduate degree or higher 
  • Experience in ESG/sustainability, management consulting, or PMO required 
  • Experience with complex project coordination and support of project management and administration required 
  • Excellent organizational skills, conscientiousness, and attention to detail required 
  • Experience with the intersection of business and human rights preferred 
  • Experience with social compliance programs, social auditing, or responsible sourcing preferred 
  • Experience in food and agriculture supply chains preferred 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish required 
  • Strong written and spoken communication and presentation skills 
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work virtually, one-on-one, and in a team 
  • Ability to influence without formal authority 
  • Capacity to work across different time zones and to hold meetings outside of regular local working hours 
  • Skilled with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other professional software fundamentals
